To play on Betano Mendoza from an Android phone or tablet, turn on the device location and give the Betano app permission to use it. The names of the options may vary depending on the model and Android version. The steps are the same on Android tablets. If you already enabled everything and the app can't detect your location, see “Why can't I verify my location?”.
How to Enable Location on Android
To turn on location and give the Betano app permission on an Android phone or tablet, follow these steps. They also apply if the app can't detect your location or if you're having problems with location verification.
- Go to Settings → Location and turn on Use location.
- To improve accuracy, go to Settings → Location services → Improve accuracy and turn on the options to use Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Go to Settings → Location → App permissions and select the Betano app.
- Choose Allow only while using the app and turn on Precise location.
- Keep Wi-Fi turned on, even if you're using mobile data. The device must be able to detect several nearby Wi-Fi networks to improve the accuracy of your location.
- Close the app completely and open it again so Betano Mendoza can try to verify your location again.
Menus may vary depending on the phone manufacturer.
If you're playing from a browser instead of the app, click the icon that appears to the left of the site address (a padlock or settings icon), go to the site settings, and set Location to Allow. Then reload the Betano Mendoza page.
