To play Betano Mendoza from a cellphone or tablet with Android, enable the device’s location and give the Betano app permission to use it. The names of the options may vary depending on the model and Android version. The steps are the same on Android tablets. If you have already enabled everything and the app is not detecting your location, see “Why can’t I verify my location?”.
How to enable location on Android
To enable location and give the Betano app permission on a cellphone or tablet with Android, follow these steps. They also apply if the app is not detecting your location or if you are having problems with location verification.
- Go to Settings → Location and enable the Use location option.
- To improve accuracy, go to Settings → Location services → Improve accuracy and enable the options to use Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Go to Settings → Location → App permissions and select the Betano app.
- Choose Allow only while using the app and enable Precise location.
- Keep Wi-Fi turned on, even if you are using mobile data. The device must be able to detect several nearby Wi-Fi networks to improve the accuracy of your location.
- Close the app completely and open it again so Betano Mendoza can try to verify your location again.
Menus may vary depending on the cellphone manufacturer.
If you play from a browser instead of the app, click the icon that appears to the left of the site address (a padlock or settings icon), go to the site settings, and set Location to Allow. Then reload the Betano Mendoza page.
